Summer of 2015 update

It has been a while I know. I have been back a year and look, no updates. I know I cannot believe myself either. This last year a lot has happened. I will break it up and put more specific project posts later.

Last summer when I got home I still had my 1993 Ford Diesel truck, my dad still had his 1970 Mustang and I still had my 1963 Ford Ranchero.

So for the time leading up to my mission I tried to sell the diesel truck with no avail. Last summer I put it back up for sale. Instead of selling it I took this 2000 Subaru Legacy GT in on trade. I was happy, I had something I could afford to drive to school that was pretty efficient and was reliable.  I have done some work to it, I will put more up on it later.

The Mustang was sold to a friend of my parents down in Arizona. We ended up driving it all the way down from Oregon to southwest Arizona. It was a fun trip, we did find out how empty it is in between some places in Utah and Arizona. We made it down fine and the car ran great till about three or four hours from where we were going. It ended up being something as small as needing new spark plugs. As a side note, I saw it earlier this summer when I went to go visit. The new owner is doing a lot of body work to get it back in better shape.

While we were down in Arizona my grandpa gave me one of his trucks. It is a really nice 1972 Chevy C/20. Yep your thinking it right, it is a lot like the green one we had before. So the problem with this one is it had not been running for eight years and hadn't been on the road for even longer. We didn't get it ready to come all the way back to Oregon in the few days we had while we were there, but we got a few things done on it.

When I went back to school in the fall I had the Subaru with me as my daily driver in Idaho, my Ranchero in Oregon, and the C/20 in Arizona. The joke was that I was never going to get all three in the same place at the same time.

This is all for this post, I will be putting more posts up with more specifics on some of these projects.
